Kofte! For when you crave something different.

This is a great mix of cultures. A little Greek touch, a little Turkish touch and a tonne of flavor!

If you like garlic, this is the recipe for you. Just don't eat those before date ;)

You'll need:

  • 300g of minced lamb meat (30%fat to 70% lean ratio works best)
  • A bunch of parsley (chopped)
  • Grill Kong
  • Greek Monkey
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 150g of Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp of lemon juice
  • Optional: 0,1l white wine**

Chop the garlic very small. Add to the meat along with parsley, Grill Kong and 2 pinches of salt. Mix and let rest for at least 15 minutes. In the meanwhile prepare the yogurt. Easy; mix 2 teaspoons of Greek Monkey, the lemon juice and some fresh parsley with the yogurt.

Make 5-6 equal sized meatballs. Sear them on each side, add 0,1l of water (**wine**) and cover for 5-7 minutes.

Serve two koftas on our yogurt that we made. Usually, it is served with bread and a generous amount of fresh parsley.
